We are regulars here and come at least once a month. The food is consistently excellent... never had a complaint in the countless times we've come. This speaks volumes for the gentleman making all the food. The server is a professional... excellent at her job. She's friendly, funny, polite, efficient, the list of her positive qualities is endless! I honestly don't know why this place has only a 3.5 stars rating. It's our tried and true spot. Could not recommend more.
We were craving ramen soup and we couldn't be more pleased. Ambience and service was excellent. This small intimate restaurant boasted friendly, attentive service. The ramen soup was excellent.. Flavorful, abundant, delicious. About the best I've had.
The sushi here looked fresh and tasted fresh too. The place itself is very cute though small. Atmosphere was relaxing even when it got full. I got the sweet potato roll and the tempura sweet potatoes were crunchy. Some of the serving trays were very cute as well. Staff is kind and inviting.
Have not been since 2020, but the restaurant looks amazing! The sushi is so delicious and filling. Service is awesome and the staff makes you feel so welcomed. 10/10 highly recommend!
The food was so good! It isn't as cheap as other yelp reviewers have previously stated, so definitely a rise in the price- but for this quality I'd say its worth it! I got ginger salad and miso soup not pictured and the ginger salad was my favorite I've ever had honestly! The store was very modern feeling and the one server they had was very efficient and polite!
Finally had Carytown sushi for the first time after living here for 6+ years! I didn't realize how small the inside was. The whole place has about 6 tables and a tiny bar but you couldn't sit there, they had a sign that said "carry out only" which kinda stinks because I love sitting at a sushi bar and watching them make it. I ordered the spicy salmon, spicy scallop and miso soup. The sushi was average and the sauce on top was a little sweet for my taste. My friend ordered the dragon roll, something with eel in it and that was pretty good. He also ordered a Sopporo beer and the server forgot to bring it until we said something. Overall, a decent spot but not a "wow" spot per say.
